Good game for girly boy Peg ;x

    Quote:
Rather than run-and-gun their way through a meat maze, players will be
forced to scavenge for objects and use them to beat their undead foes
into submission. There are precious few firearms scattered around the
island (and even less ammo), so the majority of the combat will be
intimate. Knives, machetes, bats, broomsticks, pipes – these are your
defenses against the horde of infected monsters. It's survival horror
with a melee action twist, and it's disgusting.

    Quote:
Publisher Deep Silver and developer Techland recently showed me an early
build of Dead Island, and the zombies were horrifying in their varying
states of decay. With each blow, their already sloughing flesh fell away
in sprays of blood, revealing layers of muscle underneath. The
publisher describes Dead Island as dark, twisted and gritty, and the
tiny sliver I've seen seems to support those claims. This is not the
    campy world of Dead Rising.

Although i know nothin' about this game (and i'm looking about it 'cause i'm curious), honestly this is one of the most beautiful trailer ever made for a videogame, that's why i avoid any comment about the "girly boy" for now Smile

    Yeah I don't know much about it either, only what I have posted here D;

I really like single player survival horror games though ;x Need more of them imo like Condemned: Criminal Origins type gameplay...

FPS? With melee weapons? Ok, seriously, how can you call a game "FPS" without guns.

I don't know much about Condemned, but i tried time ago the cracked version of "Singularity" (had an interesting multiplayer, wanted to try but i found out that it's unavailable by cracked game). So i played a bit of single player "until i could" then i dropped it. Imho it had a good potential anyway.

Condemned wasn't a very popular game, kind of a F.E.A.R side project ;l you had very limited ammo so most fighting was melee, not the L4D kind of melee though. You couldn't take on a horde.

btw in the quote above it says "There are precious few firearms scattered around the
island" so it still has guns ;x You'll just have to conserve your ammo etc..

"Precious" and "few"... Yes i'm good into saving ammo, but i wouldn't love to be face to face with a scary zombie and have to kill him with a coconut... i think i will pass Smile.

I'm sure the good macho boy PiNK will run to get it, hope not run as the girl in the trailer :D!

    So annoying.

Whenever I edit a post here with an embedded video, the video disapears.

Got the game, pratically it's a Borderlands/Fallout with a zombie mod. Stunning graphics, imho.

It's nice, and could be better if my pc was good enough to support it Sad. It's strange because i'm scared about free-roaming in Fallout/Oblivion, but i'm not scared to go around in a zombie island! Life's cases.
